The Hungarian Freedom Fighters Federation, Inc. (HFFF) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization established to maintain the Alba Regia Chapel and surrounding memorial park in Berkeley Springs, West Virginia. The chapel is the only independent and non-denominational Hungarian church in the United States. It is dedicated to the many Hungarian and American heroes who fought for freedom throughout the histories of both great countries.

Our mission is to memorialize and honor those persons, known and unknown, who fought and sacrificed for the cause of liberty in the Hungarian Revolution of 1956; to foster Hungarian culture in and among Hungarians and their descendants  and friends of Hungary; to perpetuate the appreciation of Hungarian history; and to provide a resting place for Hungarians in their home away from home.

HFFF serves the Hungarian American community providing cultural, social, educational, recreational, and burial facilities and services. The chapel crypt and cemetery are a meaningful resting place for the Hungarian American community. In addition to solemn occasions, the chapel and memorial park are ideal locations for baptisms, weddings and other events.

Together with other Hungarian American organizations, HFFF strives to preserve the memory of those persons who fought and sacrificed for Hungary's freedom in the 20th century. We serve to memorialize Hungary's past so that the younger generations can understand the perils of  tyranny. We are honored to partner with many Hungarian-American organizations across the United States and Canada.

The only non-denominational Hungarian church in the United States, the chapel and cemetery grounds are continually in need of maintenance and repair. We welcome your monetary and in-kind donations to help preserve this small part of Hungarian heritage in America.

HFFF is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, non-profit organization. All donations to support the chapel and grounds are tax-deductible. All donations over $500 will receive a donation receipt. Please email to for more information.
